On December 27 to 29, 2016, the Ninth National Congress of Chinese Catholic Church was held in Beijing. The 360 representatives from different provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities participated in the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the work reports of the Eighth Standing Committees of CCPA & BCCCC, and approved the amendments to “the Constitutions of Chinese Catholic Patriotic Association” and “the Constitutions of Bishops’ Conference of Catholic Church in China”. The congress elected the new collective leadership of CCPA&BCCCC.
